Established in 1951 from a post-war 1946 business partnership that dealt mainly with within the Singaporean steel trade to meet the needs of post-war construction.

By 1965, we were able to capitalize on the widespread economic growth sweeping across the region, and inroads were made into the sectors of Building Services, Sea Transportation and Petroleum &Energy Development. Further corporate growth was successfully achieved by specialization into piping system materials, fabrication and then the manufacturing, importing & exporting of products ranging from pipes & valves to special pipeline systems and control instrumentation. This secured our involvement in major building projects in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and China.

In 1982, Seng Choon Engineering Pte Ltd was formed as a wholly owned subsidiary to remain ahead of rapid developments within the building, marine, petrochemical and general industries - while continuing to provide customers with a premium service in a more demanding market. Since then, diversification into building environment control engineering services & equipment has been central to all corporate activities.

Entering the new millennium, we are keeping up with the forefront of the new economy by providing products, services and solutions that support the stringent requirements of existing industries as well as emerging fields such as the water treatment industry, biotech industry & IT industry.
