:: New Line of Polypropylene (PP-R) Pipe Systems 每 KELEN & KEtrix from Austria 每 Jun 11, 2002

In our efforts to provide our customers with innovative and high quality products to meet their piping needs, we are proud to present our new line of PP-R pipes!

KELEN & KEtrix is PUB approved for potable water usage and is targeted for plumbing, chilled water and refrigerant usage in air-conditioning systems as well as compressed air technology. Advantages include ease of installation 每 resistance to corrosion 每 high chemical resistance 每 resistance to lime deposit build-up 每 lower costs.

On Friday, July 26, 2002, Seng Choon Engineering and Ke Kelit officially launch KELEN / KEtrix PP-R Pipe System with a night of hands-on demonstrations and lively discussions.

Product Profile
KELEN & KEtrix PP-R Pipe Systems 每 Corrosion Resistant, Easy to Install, Saves Money

Two of the major problems encountered with piping system installations are corrosion and the formation of deposits 每 which lead to high friction losses, reduced flow rate, blockages, expensive repairs and time-consuming renovations. Corrosion, which is caused by certain ions in contact with metal pipes (stainless steel, galvanized steel, carbon steel and copper), can be further aggravated by environmental factors and certain installation techniques.

Successfully installed in systems throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Asia as well as being PUB approved for potable water applications 每 KELEN & KEtrix PP-R pipes have a strong advantage over metal pipes in many of these situations because they are corrosion resistant, provide no crystallization points for mineral deposits, have low-pressure losses due to their smooth bore, and have a long service life. Additionally, the system is easy to install, resistant to impact, easy to handle and cost effective.

Available up to 110 mm PN 10-16, the system is easily assembled using polyfusion socket welding. Fittings are also made of PP-R, and metal adaptor fittings are made of dezincification resistant brass (MS63).

Applications for KELEN & KEtrix include potable water applications, plumbing, chilled water, refrigerants, compressed gas technology as well as other gas and chemical applications.
